Ever since upgrading my site to DNN 4.9 the document module 4.1 setting will not update. I am using 2 document modules. The first was install on a page prior to the update and works.  I cannot change the settings on the second doc module. I un-check Owner, Category, Mod date, and check Description and hit update, but the headers remain the same. Go back into settings and everything has defaulted back.  If I check Description and try to move it up, it un-checks. Anyone else having problems with the Doc module settings? Any ideas how to fix?

Thanks

There is a known issue in the module if you go to move columns up or down, that selections return to the default.  However, if you set them and click "update" it should be just fine.

Did you have issues on older installations?

Hi Mitch,

Thank you for your reply. No the older version worked just fine. I think it may have something to do with the upgrade because I also just discovered a problem with the event module. After completely removing it and re-installing it the event module worked again. I'm going to try that with the document module and will let you know if that was sucessful. I have another install where this was not an issue.

After completely removing the module from module definitions and uploading a clean install it worked fine again. Something must have got messed up during the upgrade. Thanks for your help.

Rich,

I'm sorry that I didn't have an answer for you on this one, i am going to review the upgrade process of DNN and see if I can re-create/resolve the issue.
