Hi

To enable me to redirect mysite.com/default.aspx  to the root mysite.com I have asked my host to enable wildcard extensions on three of my domains (all DNN sites).

Two of them appear to work ok – DNN starts when entering mystite.com. But one of them returns a 404 unless I add the default.aspx.

I have proved that my host has set up IIS ok by temporarily substituting another site to that domain.

The only difference with the DNN site giving the problems is that I have set a different tab as the start page. I have restored this but it still does not work.

I assume this must be the cause of the problem so can anyone advise me how to correctly restore the default start page (obviously not just in the admin settings)?

Or maybe someone has a better idea of what the problem is.

Many thanks
Bill

IIS default document or DNN portal alias.  Most likely the latter.
