Ok so here is the deal I have everything working and looking the way I want with two exceptions. In my skin I have a place for the Menu across the top as well as login and username but for some reason I can't change the color of the font.  In the HTML mark up for the skin I have the tokens in <font></front> that changes the color to #ffffff and in the CSS in the admin section of the page I have added the color:#ffffff; as well and still they are black.  Has anybody else run into this and if so how did you resolve it.

Edit the CSS for the menu.

Yup, it's not that easy... You would have to edit the skin.css file for your Skin and look for the menu section. Also you could edit the final .ascx skin file and add CssClass to the token, for example:

<dnn:USER runat="server" id="dnnUSER" CssClass="YourCSSClass" />

Just follow dabodude solution by set the cssclass to none:

ex: <dnn:User ID ="userdnn" runat="server" cssclass="None"/>

When you set to none, by default it will use the reference link (a) from your skin.css

hope this help.
