Hi,

I would like to be able to give a role Page Editor permissions - but I'd also like to turn OFF editing priviledges for several modules on the page in question, e.g. banner-related content.

Any way to do that?

Thanks!

unfortunately DNN does not support explicit deny of rights so if you give Admin rights to a portal all pages and modules are accessible by them and they cannot be blocked, likewise a page admin can edit the page and any module on the page and there is no way to block them, etc.  Your best bet is to just give module edit rights for the modules you want them to be able to edit and not the ones you don't.
