...as I stated in my earlier post regarding the XML feeds for the Projects Blogs list, occasionally when linking to the rss feeds, that feed displays the literal Blog page instead of the XML.

As I have linked to the core team's rss blogging feeds to test the content on my site, when this anomoly occurs, it generates the following error:

A critical error has occurred.
The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.

This literal page feed return should be causing issues with other sites that rely upon the correct function of the XML feeds.

Just a friendly heads up to the developers.

I'm not sure how that is happening.  There really would be no way for the actual web page to be served from the rss link and that it only happens sometimes is really weird.  Could you post the exact steps to reproduce this?

Just go to http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?tabid=825. Look at the "List of DNN Blogs".

As you go down down the list starting from the top, click each xml linked icon. As each one is clicked, a RANDOM one will popup the literal Blog page instead of the xml feed. As it's random, I clicked the errant xml icon several times before it would display the actual xml. There's no way to predict which one it'll happen to.

It's really weird! I thought it was a problem with IE, then I noticed it does the same thing in Firefox. Also, it does the same thing on my site as I am displaying the core team's blogs from my RSS module.

When your site feeds my module and this happens, the module throws the error stated.

I hope this gives you some direction. It not only looks bad on DotNetNuke's site, but effects every other site using this function.

Finally 3rd party confirmation! I knew I wasn't loosing my mind.

It would be nice to track this down, as it's causing errors on my site as well.
