Currently the default is that child pages are viewed as list items which come out of the navigation bar.  However I'd like to get a secondary navigation for any pages with children not a dropdown list.

ex.

Home | Parent1 | Parent2

Child1 | Child2 | Child3 |

I can't seem to find a solution to this, perhaps i'm misexplaining it.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi

So if I get you right, you just want the child pages to show up in a horizontal list below the row of parent menu options? And currently they are showing in a sort of popup vertical list?

The first solution that comes to mind is a set of ready made menus that you can install. To find them I'd search "CISS menu" on snowcovered.com. They include a couple menus that do this but it's not free.

You may also want to search the DNN documentation on included alternate menus (either TreeViewMenu or those in the default skin packages) just to learn more about what's already included with dnn.

Another free option might be the House Menu from HouseofNuke.com although I don't remember if it does exactly what you are requesting.

Hope that helps,
Mike

Mike yeah pretty much I'm looking to lose the dropdown list for child links.  I'd like where there are child links, another row of navigation same as the parent links simply below them.  I don't think duplicating my SolPartMenu would work, but if there was some sort of menu for child links similar to solpartmenu that would probably be the fix i need.

Why can't I create a new thread? Every time I hit the New Thread button it displays:

Add/Edit Post

An error has occurred.

Moderators, please help!

After talking over the design with a few coworkers I've found out that we can purchase CISS.SideMenu.  For my purposes this thread is solved.  Lester may have some pending issues???
