Hello,

I have implimented a splash page on my website and it redirects to the home page after a certain amount of time. The splash page works, it redirects properly and everything but I still have one problem: once you're in the site, if you click on the "home" tab, it loads the splash page... any idea of how to change this?

http://www.mysite.com     (Loads Splash page)

---redirects to---

http://www.mysite.com/Home/Tabid/36/default.aspx   (Home page)

Then...

when the "Home" tab is clicked it loads: http://www.mysite.com instead of http://www.mysite.com/Home/Tabid/36/default.aspx

how can I make the home tab redirect to the proper page? (http://www.mysite.com/Home/Tabid/36/default.aspx)

Thanks!

Matt

On the Admin/Site Settings page there is a set of dropdown lists, in here you can define which page should be the Splash Page, Home Page, Login Page and User Page. Do you already have these configured?

Yes I do, I have Home set to Home and Splash set to Splash. If I get rid of Splash it always directs to home, so I believe that part is working properly.

Probably a very silly question, but what home tab ? the one in your browser / home page ? if so this would if set to the main url send you back to the splash every time, you would need to re set the url in your browser home tab to take you to the aspx page to avoid this.

OT but if possible also place acontinue option on the splash page ( as i am guessing you have applied some redirect code in the header tag of the splash page to re direct after a certain amount of time.

When you click on the "home" tab, is that part of the default navigation, or perhaps hardcoded into your skin?
