Hi,
I am looking for a module that will create an automatic link for certain text in the DNN website. Sort of like a tooltip but instead of having the mouse over functionality, it adds a link to the text that when clicked, takes the user to a predefined URL

for example, if we want the word 'security' in our site to show up as a hyperlink to a URL, every time this word is typed in the site, the link is automatically created.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks
Stephen

You'd need an HTTP module to do that... AFAIK PageBlaster by Snapsis can do that

Stephen

I've built a module to do just that.

It's available here : http://www.ifinity.com.au/Products/Inline_Html_Links_For_DNN/

It's available as a free download to trial.

Pricing hasn't been set yet as it has only just been released.  It will be < $100 for a single domain licence.  I can set you up with as long a trial period as you need to evaluate the product.

The module works by typing the text you want to find, then supplying the link you want to replace the text with, then picking which page(s) to do the replacement on.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

-Bruce
