Greetings:

I've a Document module that I've given some users the ability to edit (these users do not have the Admin role).  I thought this would allow them to upload new files...but it doesn't.  Only when I give these users full Admin (role) does the link to upload a new file appear (on the Add New File page, below the ddlstbx of file names).

So my question is...how can I provide the upload file capability without providing these users the full Admin role?

Thanks in advance for any advice or guidance (I'm running a DNN 4.9 site).

Ed,

The ability to upload is controlled by the write permission setting on the individual folders.  You control this via the Admin -> File Manager page.  You can grant them write permissions to the respective folder(s) that you would like, then the upload link will apper when they are viewing those folders in the UrlControl to select a file in the Documents module.
