I'm working on a a skin (first one), and I'm not having any trouble getting it to apply.  I've uploaded via the admin and it's available to apply to pages, no problem.

However, I'm not seeing a folder in the File Manager called "MySkin", as there is a "MinimalExtropy" from the skin that was included with the DNN install.  Should there be?  And if so, how do I make sure that get's created.

I discovered this because I'm trying to add a MySkin.doctype.xml file to get browsers to run in Compliance mode rather than Quirks mode.  However, adding the "MySkin.doctype.xml" file to the skin package and uploading it doesn't seem to be applying it.  A book I have suggests adding it to the install folder, but given I'm not the server admin, I can't do that.

Any clues about what I need to do to make sure a "MySkin" folder is created, and the MySkin.doctype.xml file applies?

Thanks,

Jay

Are you looking in the right portal folder?  Did you do a recursive sunch in FileManager?
