I upgraded fro 3.1.1 to 4.09.  Everything seems to be ok, with the execption of when I try to log in I get the following error message:

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Can some one point me in the right direction.?  Do I need to blow the whole thing away and start over, or is there a way to fix this?
