Hi,

When customers register on my site (to purchase goods), the following message is shown:

'  *Note: Membership to this portal is Public. Once your account information has been submitted, you will be immediately granted access to the portal environment. '

Is there a way of removing this message? (it could be misleading, as they will not have access to the portal environment by registering)

Thanks in advance for your reply, I look forward to your answers

IMHO the best would be to change registration mode in Admin :: Site Settings to private.

Besides, you can alter the text in the language editor, 2b found in Admin :: Languages, AFAIR the text is stored in Local > Desktop Modules > Authentication > DNN > App_localresources.
