Hi

I have a hosted DNN installation which I have been accessing with a temporary URL (as I didn't have a domain name), e.g. :

http://mysite.temporarysite.com/myusername

I have recently bought a domain, e.g. :

http://www.mynewdomain.com

I have added this as an alias for the portal, and when I type it into the address bar it does take me to my website.

However, when the website loads it still shows the temporary URL. Is there anyway I can change it so that it shows www.mynewdomain.com as the URL when I access the website?

Many Thanks

make sure that all the lical links are either relative or use the new domain.

afterwards you may remove the temporary portal alias, when being logged in from the final domain.
