I'm not 100% sure about where I should post this, so I'm trying here.  I tried to enter a bug report, but the site would not let me.  On our site, we have ASPX pages that need to be hit via SSL.  However, if i turn on the "Enforce SSL" option in Admin -> Site Settings, ANY .Net request that's not part of DotNetNuke is redirect to the insecure (HTTP) version of the page.  We would like to enforce SSL on our site, but cannot when the pages that are not part of DotNetNuke are redirected.

Is this behavior by design?  If not, how do I get a bug report issued?

If this is by design, can I submit a request to change this or at least put an option in to change the behavior?

Not sure about the issues you experienced when reporting the "bug," but I recommend SSLRedirect to handle SSL outside of DNN. I've used it many times and it works great.

I never did find a way to do this with DotNetNuke.  For anybody that's wondering, we've managed to get by without enforcing SSL and I just write all of my URLs with the protocol identifier (http) and the server name to refer to either the secure or insecure version of the page.
