Hi all,

I've created a skin which I used MinimalExtropy as a starting point. I've noticed when I uploaded the skin to my test server that it looks different to how it looks on my local machine. Using the IE8 developer tools I can see that the container ./portals/_default/containers/minimalextropy/container.css is overriding my css.

Is there a way to remove the reference to the default skin or do I have to remove the skin from the default directory? If I do that then my skin containers no longer work so it looks like it is using that default skin for some of the containers. When I set the container to <not specified> thats when it seems to be using the default skin rather than my own skin

Remember that if you are using both skins on a page, both CSS files are loaded and one can overrule the other. If you don't set the conatiner the default container will be used, that's correct (you need some kind of container)

Did you create the new container in a separate folder?

Did you create a skin or containers?  And do you use the MinimalExtropy containers on your page?  If so, that CSS will load.  If any CSS class is the same name, the last one loaded wins.
