I try to use News Feed module to show the relevant content in a forum in its own website,

the error message is:
Feed 'http://www.mysite.com/DesktopModules/Forum/Forum_Rss.aspx?forumid=2&tabid=86&mid=523#' could not be loaded. Error: The 'pubDate' element is invalid - The value '2008-10-27T03:25:44Z' is invalid according to its datatype 'tRfc822formatDate' - The Pattern constraint failed.

This website is supposed to be visited by Chinese, so we have to use Chinese characters. Does it influence the News Feed module?

Thank you in advance!

The newer version of the News module currently available is rather strict and requires RSSv2.0 compliance with respect to all field elements, including pubDate.  Please read the many posts on the topic in this forum.  The top post about placing broken feeds would help you understand a bit more.

For even more info, visit my blog where I detail many areas about the News module, including this topic.

The beta version will relax the strict compliance issues reported.
