I'm using a Windows 2003 server and SQL Server 2005.  When I first unzipped the INSTALL files into their own directory, and then created the Virtual Directory under the Website I"m using in  IIS, the Install came up fine when I went to www.domain.com/dnn_install.  I went through the process, connected to the database and then it began installing the database scripts but after 5 hours I figured the "Next" button probably wasn't going to show up so I canceled the process in order to start over.  Ever since then, nothing has worked right and I don't know how to get back to the beginning.  I've tried deleting the database, the Virtual Directory, the physical directory.  It always comes back with errors and I can't get back to the install site.

One error is:

Parser Error Message: The entry 'ScriptModule' has already been added.

I tried the fix I found on another post that said to put this before the offending line in the web.config.

<remove name="ScriptModule" />

But then other errors occur.  How do i start over??

Ok - with some help i was finally able to get past all the errors - but am now receiving "Domain Name www.<DomainName>.com/<DNN DIRECTORY> Does Not Exist In The Database.

I've read other posts with this issue - but the only solution that seemed to work was to reinstall.  Can anyone help beyond that?

I'm not sure anyone is going to answer - but I'll keep asking. :)

I got by the errors by building a new database and using the AUTO to install it.  Now DNN is running, and I installed the forum module like I needed to, but it won't let me add a Page or edit a user.  When I click either of those it just refreshes the page.

Anyone??

I'd check your internal firewall settings, make sure javascript is enabled + cookies are fully enabled.

I'm on the server on which it is installed and accepting all cookies.  The only error I get is:

Line: 45

Char: 3

Error: Object Expected

Code: 0

URL: http://www.<mywebsite>/DotNetNuke/Default.aspx?tabid=40
