Everything was working OK except the portal kept losing the logo and upon going into site admin, the permissions error was showing where you select the logo.  According to other articles found, the solution was to do a file manager sync...which seem to fix the problem temporarily.

Another post suggested disabling the scheduled synch and turn on auto-sync at the host...which I tried...

now I cannot get the file manager to work properly at all...everything has gone nuts!  I disabled all compression, no cache, disabled the auto sync...etc...to no avail...my site is now completely screwed up!

Getting this error:

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.FolderPermissionsGrid.GetUsers() at DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.PermissionsGrid.CreateChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.EnsureChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Page.FindControl(String id) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessPostData(NameValueCollection postData, Boolean fBeforeLoad) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Not!!!

Thought I had it resolved...but it isn't working....  anyone have any ideas on how to recover this?  Even my skins are not showing properly.

Can I delete the contents of the File table and rebuild it somehow?

Thanks!

disable scheduled file sync in scheduler and enablee autosync in host settings.

perform a recursive sunc in Admin :: File Manager (top right corner)

Tried that...no joy...

Site seems unstable but I am able to recover  briefly by doing an IISRESET.  Clicking or Sychronize in the file manager a couple of times in a row seems to trigger the error.  Caching error? But I do get the following error almost everytime...

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.FolderPermissionsGrid.GetUsers() at DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.PermissionsGrid.CreateChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.EnsureChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Page.FindControl(String id) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessPostData(NameValueCollection postData, Boolean fBeforeLoad) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Not going to be taking this site live anytime soon until I can resolve this....

Anyone ?
