Hi Kailas,

the landing page is often used to give a short review of all the entries in the portal. For this reason the summaries are used instead of the entire entry body. This comes very useful in installs where several bloggers are involved, such as dotnetnuke.com. You can however overrule this behaviour, and make the module work exactly like competitor's blogging platform: all the entry body is shown on the landing page. To do this:

 1. Make sure that when you add a new entry nothing is entered in the summary field. Remember to switch to Source view and delete any unwanted

tags.
 2. Goto Module Options > Basic Settings > Limit Auto-Generated Entry Summary To and enter 0.
 3. [Optional] If the install is used by one only blogger as a personal blog platform, you may decide to show a page dedicated only to his/her blog. To do this goto Module Options > Advanced Settings > Personal Blog Page and set the desired blog.

From now and on whenever an entry is added this will happen:

 • If a summary is provided, this will be used in the landing page and a Read More... link will display.
 • If no summary is provided, all the entry will be shown in the landing page.

Let me know if you need further help.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi,

Solution is working fine. I have 1 problem.

Module Options > Basic Settings > Limit Recent entries to: 2

so landing page will dispaly only 2 entries.

but when i click on archive/Any blog link it shows only 2 posts from that month/blog, it has to display all posts from that month/blog by keeping above setting.

Also, in Archive when i click on October link it shows me entries from september also(Please give solution for this also)

Thanks & Regards Kailas

please be aware, that blog is still .net 1.1, requiring DNN3 and VS2003 to compile.
