You can see how I have solved this issue:

support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx

for my customer (WorldCarParts) on my sandbox site (srcSolutions)

User: test, pass: testing

As well as this custom address provider I have developed:

  • an International UK Tax provider (to account for Domestic, EC and International Sales)
  • a Worldwide Shipping Provider (to handle Domestic and International Freight charges for multiple Freight Service providers)
  • a Payment provider to accept Credit/Debit cards via the PayPal Website Payments Pro and the option of payment via the PayPal Express Checkout service

These are all in production for my customer.  A multiple currency option is next on my task list.

I suspect that several of us are repeating the same effort here - I've just finished doing what I've called a Micro Basket (a cut down version of the Mini Basket) which is virtually identical to the one you've done on your site.

There must be a way for us to share this source amongst ourselves better than bouncing it through this forum.

Can we have some sort of 'experimental' branch(es) on the main source control system?

If not, is it worth setting up a seperate project on sourceforge where we can all have our own branches on a common svn installation and share one another's work? That could be a good place to try out code for future integration into the main source.

Thoughts, opinions, suggestions gratefully received.

Dave we can open a space in www.dnn.fr , under ressources / Store beta , if it is usefull. Just let me know which module would be necessary (we have a licence for Peter Donker's DMX (www.bring2mind.net) ; and also who wants to admin that space

BTW we have just published store 2.1.8 for a short public beta before we put it into the release process.

Probably a dead link somewhere, I'll check that, but you shoud get it there :

http://www.dotnetnuke.fr/Ressources/ProjetStorebeta/Téléchargementdownload/tabid/202/Default.aspx

OR manually www.dnn.fr / ressources / store beta / download and clic Télécharger

BTW it's a 2.1.9 now

Benoit
