Hello everyone,

I finally got my install of 4.9.0 up, and I cannot get the login link to open any pages.  The link is this:

__doPostBack('dnn$dnnLOGIN$cmdLogin','')

I see the postback (The screen refreshes), but no pop-up loging screen or re-direct to a loging page.

Any ideas?

login control should be injected in the page, but maybe there has been an issue in login page option of site settings. try to go to /ctl/login/default.aspx, if this doesn't exist, enter the database and clear loginTab field in Portals table for your portal.

Sebastian,

Thanks for the reply, but no luck.  I don't have a /ctl/login/default.aspx page.  The only default.aspx is the home page.  I did check the DB and found that the loginTab field is "null".

I did some research before I posted this and another member having a similar problem said the files were read only and clear the cookies.  When I check the propertied of the folders in the dotnetnuke_4 directory, all of them show a solid green square in the read only field.  I tried to clear this both in windows explorer and using the ATTRIB command.  No Luck.

Im not sure if this is the issue or not.  Does anyone know what page the login link on the home page calls?  Can you look when you click your login link?

Any other ideas, I am really stuck.

Thanks!!

Update:

I opened a new IE browser and instead of connecting via http://localhost, I connected via http://severname.

Not sure why, but it works now.  I then tried to connect via http://localhost and it works that way too.

Crazy.

Thanks for all the help!
