Hello,

I've run into a situation where for no obvious reason I'll access the site and instead of seeing all of my navigation bar, over half of my main links are missing and the ones that are still there don't show all of the sub pages in the drop down sub-navigation. Acessing the site as an unregistered user or as the host has no effect on these missing pages. In addition, when I log in as Host, the host and admin menus are gone as well, and when I attempt to access some of the links in the control panel (like users or files) those pages seem to have disappeared as well.

My server tech has told me that the file permissions are changing on some of the files so that instead of being globally readable, they become only readable by certain users. He hasn't been able to specify which specific files are being affected and we haven't been able to narrow down what the cause of this issue is.
Can anyone provide any info or advice on this issue?

Thanks,
Lorna

First, reset permissions on the DNN folder and all folders/files beneath it to allow Full Control for the Network Service account.  Then check security software or group policies for possible culprits if they change again.
