I currently have about 10 applications we're running in our older version of DNN, I use iframes to display the apps.

We're looking to move away from dnn security and use AD as our authentication model, as well as the way to keep groups and everything inside the portal.
What I would really like to do is find a way to somehow pass the roles from DNN to the application somehow so I can see who it is, and what they should have access to.

Is it possible to somehow send a list of AD roles in a link to another page?  I was thinking of instead of using iFrames to pass the Roles to the applications, use a link to open the app in a new page, passing the Roles as a param string somehow.

Any ideas?
