Hi all,

This is my first post in this forum. I'm developing a compiled module using C# (ASP.Net 2.0) for child portal creation required for my current project with some additional business requirements. Initially I thought of editing existing user control used by DNN, but later found that it will not solve my problem, thus I developed a separate module which in turn utilizes same functionality for template creation for creating new portal as provided in -

 ~/admin/Portal/Template.ascx

Initially using reflection I invoked certain methods under above mentioned user control through code behind file of my module -  e.g userControl.GetType().GetMethod("SerializeSettings").Invoke(userControl, arrObj); It was working fine. Now when I tried to use the same procedure in another cs file other than code behind, its raising error - object reference not set to an instance to an object. Has anybody faced this kind of problem before?

Any suggestion!!
