I made it through the install wizard, but then had the following error going to the portal:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I punted.

Removed the install and reinstalled.
This time I did not choose to install additional modules.

The install went fine.

After installing site I chose to install a number of modules (about 5) in batch mode.

A couple installed and the site hung.  Fortunately I refreshed and everything was fine.
I then proceded to install the modules about 3 at a time which worked out.
