I am not a SEO specialist, but I assume the bots index the data that is on the page as you access it by default.

So if the Event has a default as list view and the list contaings date/time/title, this data will probably be indexed. Thel event details only show up if you click the link for the Event details. I am not sure if this link will be followed automagically by the bot.

Ernst, first of all, I want to say your events module is great and it has afforded me capability to do what I do.

Here is another bug you may want to fix with the next release. Only administrators can update the calendar. I designated certain roles to be able to add and update the calendar but these users are ONLY able to add events NOT UPDATE or MODIFY an event in the calendar. This is very critical for my use where we want users doing the work and not us. Thanks

Ernst, it will also be nice if you add ANOTHER browsing category capability so administrators can designate browsing by at least 2 diffrent criterias in addition to location (which I understand you will be working on for the next release)

Regards

Paul

Hi Paul,

Tnx for your kind feedback.

I am not sure if your request can make in the upcoming release  V4.1.0, since we are very near to a public beta, and your requests are outside of the scope of this new version.

My kind request/sugestion is to put these requests into the issue system of DotNetNuke (Gemini), so it will become part of the things to decide about when we discuss the issues wew want to cover for the next release. You will find a link in my signature. Gemini is the central place where all requests are handled.

Hi Paul,

The way this should work in 4.0.2 is that a user who can add an event by being given 'Edit Module' permissions to the module should also be able to update any events they added. They will not be able to update any other persons events. To given someone the permission to update all events in a module instance they must be given 'Events Moderator' permissions in module settings.

If this isn't clear, please let me know.

Cheers
Roger
