Hi everybody,

I have installed DNN 4.9 on Windows 2003 .net 3.5 and I'm experiencing the following problem with ajax:

Line:45

Char:3

Error:Objet Expected

Code: 0

I have reinstalled ASP.NET AJAX Extensions 1.0 and Microsoft AJAX Library 3.5 but the problem still persist, this error afects all the behavior of DNN and I can't do any management of the site.

have anyone experienced something similar?

that particular line is the first place that javascript exists that tries to interact with the form. At a guess, I'd say you're using a custom skin which has invalid html and is causing the javascript to fail to identify the form tag. If you're using a custom skin I'd recommend you try to switch to the default skin (MinimalExtropy in 4.9) to see if this resolves the issue, and if it does look at your custom skin for any incorrect html or/and additional form tags.

cathal tanks a lot for the response.

I have installed dnn from scratch I'm using the minimaextropy default skin, I haven't change anything ..

what other thing do you think could be?

I don't know, it would be a good idea to enable script debugging and see what line of code is actually causing the problem and why - you may need to install the .net SDK to get a copy of the debugging environment.
