I bought an image rotator module, the problem is that the area appears blank when you view it on a browser on the iphone. I read that the iphone does not support flash so I am wondering how in DNN can I detect the browser type. Do I need to have a java script embedded in the skin so that it will try to determine the browser type & then redirect to another page that does not contain a flash control.... or do you have to develop a DNN module that will detect the browser type  and then load the Flash Image or a static image if flash is not supported. Personally I think developing a module to detect the browser type is overkill... anybody got any ideas?

personally i would look for an image rotator that uses jQuery instead of flash, that would solve your platform issues...

is there anything I can do given that I have already purchased the module?. Ideally I would like to detect the browser type and then display either a flash image or a static image.  I am thinking that in future I might want to have flash in a website  (because it is much more feature rich than jQuery (albeit not on a browser on an IPhone!!)

you really should talk to the people you bought the module from. As they are taking care of injecting the flash, they should handle fall back cases where the browser does not support flash
