Will Strohl did a great job hosting the Orlando DotNetNuke User Group meeting last night at ABC Liquors in Orlando, FL. I left early for the meeting because I had no clue how long it would take to get across town during rush hour. I managed to get lost and called Will for help. I hate getting lost!

In any event, it was a great meeting. David Bayer who is a search engine guru spoke about how he was using DotNetNuke with his clients. He spoke about innovative uses of the DNN technology and shared his story of how to leverage rapid site deployment and skinning to build a network of owned and operated sites, and how DNN is ideal for this.  There may also be some discussion around implementing search friendly architecture and url structure within the DNN framework.

Darrell Hardy who is co-authoring the new DotNetNuke Version 5 book  with me was there and we spoke about the current book we are writing with the group. There were some questions that we answered about the book and about the new version of DotNetNuke as well.

Will was streaming live the meeting. Nik Kalyani, from the DotNetNuke core team was online which was cool. Hopefully, Will will have the meeting posting for all to see.
