Hello Forum,

Just installed the repository module today, and it when I click the upload button for my first test upload, absolutely nothing happens as far as I can tell.  No page load, redirection, etc - as if I'm not even clicking it.  The Cancel and Delete buttons do something (even though there's nothing to delete)

Any suggestions as to where I should look?

Please advise, thanks

Go to the Host->Module Definitions page and click on the pencil next to the Repository module ( BTW: what version of the Repository did you install? what version of DNN are you running? )

At the bottom of the definitions page, you should see a number of controls registered. The UserUpload control should have DesktopModules/Repository/form.ascx as the source

Now, go back to the page with your module. Go to the Repository module settings page, expand the Repository settings page, what do you have for Upload Roles? Repository Skin?

Do other modules work? can you upload documents with the Documents module? ( just making sure it's only a Repository problem you're having and not a bigger problem with your site)

ANSWERS IN RED BELOW:

New Info:  I tried with Firefox with the same result - probably eliminating a browser problem.

Go to the Host->Module Definitions page and click on the pencil next to the Repository module ( BTW: what version of the Repository did you install? what version of DNN are you running? )

went to host-module definitions:  Framework:  4.09.00, Repository:  3.01.15

At the bottom of the definitions page, you should see a number of controls registered. The UserUpload control should have DesktopModules/Repository/form.ascx as the source

It does.

Now, go back to the page with your module. Go to the Repository module settings page, expand the Repository settings page, what do you have for Upload Roles? Repository Skin?

Upload Roles:  Administrators Only  (note:  I've tried this both as the site admin and as the Host account - same failure)

Repository Skin:  Directory

Do other modules work? can you upload documents with the Documents module? ( just making sure it's only a Repository problem you're having and not a bigger problem with your site)

I was able to upload a document just now, and I've been able to upload graphics in the past.

Thanks again for your help  :-)

Also, this is the source of the bottom buttons:

Also, I was able to successfully upload a file and picture to a repository using the default repos skin - but, when I clicked the button, the screen jumped up to the image field, and stated it was required, which is something I remember the Directory skin was doing when it wasn't letting me upload.  Maybe the required field checker is still somehow active for the directory skin when it shouldn't be???
