Hello,

I've tested the upgrade to DNN 4.9 for my web sites, but I encounter a strange issue.

The Captcha doesn't appear for Login, it works well with Register but stays invisible for Login even if both options are checked in the User configuration settings.

In the previous version, it was ok for both of them, and I don't understand what's missing.

Could someone help me with that ?

Thanks in advance...

Please be aware of this issue that will be fixed for DNN 5.x versions (sorry not sure yet if future 4.x versions will be fixed):

http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=8635&PROJID=2

You might try "hacking" the value direct in the SQL database to see if this makes any difference (as a workaround).

Thanks...

Alex Shirley

Hi,

after reading the linked post, I found out that checking the UseCaptcha option in the Admin\Authentication - DNN authentication first section

resolved my issue .

I have my captcha back now on the login part.

Thanks a lot !!!!!!!
