I have a lot of users that want to know when items appear on our calendar but don't want to be always physically monitoring the site. The RSS route has a few issues for us making it not the ideal choice and they'd rather just get an email any way saying "this page has been updated" or better yet emailing the detected addition of text. There's a couple of generic tools out there changedetection.com and so on and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with anything like this?

Thanks
Mike
