If I set an event to begin on one date and end on a date, say, two weeks later, is there a way that I can make it NOT show the dates in between?

Thanks in advance.

In the current module, no. I think that would be unusal for most celandars. Can you explain how you see that working?

Thanks
Roger

Thanks for the response, Roger.  I'm trying to use the events module as a project management system.  For example, when I begin a project, I have 35 days from the start date to the end date to get it completed and delivered.  I want to be able to put in the start date and end date for that specific project, but it's showing the event for every day between the start and end dates.

Is there a more efficient way of handling this?  Do I need to purchase a project management module?  If so, do you have an idea of the best one to purchase?

To give you a better fill for what I'm doing.......I run a transcription business.  For each project, I have two people that work on the project, a transcriptionist and a proofreader.

If you'd like a better idea of what I'm doing now, go to www.coleytranscription.com and check it out.  You'll need to log in, so I'll create a test account with the ID as the word "test" and the password as "testtest."

Thanks fo much for any advice you could give me here as I'm at my wits end.

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

You may be better getting some proper project management tools. Sorry I can't recommend any, I try to avoid that sort of thing  in my home life. This is the sort of capability which could be added to the module, but I fear you would have to wait some months for it to arrive. We are close to a beta on the current release, so it would have to wait for a future one.

Feel free to raise the request on Gemini, the link is in my signature.

Cheers
Roger
