Hi,

I am using DNN 484.

I have just discovered that the host password is no longer working.

I have tried to use the recovery password mechanism but I have received the message "Password could not be sent at this moment. Please try again later or contact the site administrator."

I don't know what happened with the host password.

Is there a possibility to recovery it? I have full access to the database and to the code.

Any help would be great :)

Doru

If you have access to the database, one method to reset the host password is to find another account that you know the password for, copy over the encrypted password and passwordsalt values from that account to the host's account information in the aspnet_membership table. That should set the host account's info to the known password.
