Hi everyone,

I've ran into an error when attempting to load a compiled module within my DNN site. I get the following message:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers.

I've attemped to sign all my existing assemblies within the Compiled Module as well as the library assemblies for DNN. I also changed the configuration of the .Net framework to allow full trust for all users. I've basically made my machine wide open. If anyone knows a work around I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron,

I found that setting the "Trust" value to "full" within the web.config file, allowed all the assemblies to load. Make sure that they are unsigned. You can find the related article here:

 http://codeguru302.blogspot.com

But be aware that by doing so, your application is far less secure and far more susceptible to attack. Never a good idea to open up security vulnerabilities just to solve a problem that has better, more secure solutions.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Larry!

Works perfect! When I have some time I will look at ways of getting around this issue with a more secure approach.

Best regards,

Ronald
