Skins

 Hi still new,

I am trying to figure out how to do skins.  I am finding the skins confusing.  I want to make the background in photoshop and put on my site I cannot seem to get this to work when uploading a new skin package.  Can any one tell me what are the steps I need to take when trying to upload a new skin package and how to apply it to my site?

Thanks for any help

Rebecca

You can go to the downloads page and find the skinning documentation in the documentation download.

If you are finding skinning confusing, go to http://www.dnncreative.com/

Look at their series of videos.  They cover skinning extensively and it is very easy to follow.  There is cost involved but it is very little, especially for the value you get out of it.

Depending on how you're doing your skin, look at Admin -> Site Settings -> Appearance -> Body Background.  Otherwise, you can use a CSS class for the background.
