Mike,

I moved My dev code and Db to prod. Copied code. Backed up DB. Restored prod with back up of dev.
Now when the windows auth Users go to the site they don't get auto logged in. Wh then try to login the first time they get "A critical error has occurred.
Unknown UserCreateStatus value encountered Parameter name: UserRegistrationStatus" Still not logged in. On the second try they get "A critical error has occurred.
Redirect URI cannot contain newline characters." THen they are logged in. However they don't have the windows groups/Roles assigned. When I try to assign the role I get another error if the user is logged in. If not The user is immediately unassigned that role when they log in.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Brent

What version of the AD Provider are you using? The UserRegistrationStatus bug was fixed in the 1.0.4 release that appeared the first time a new user tried to manually login. As for the other role..... perhaps this might be a cause (http://www.codeverge.net/ng.asp-net-forum.dotnetnuke-getting_started/cant-log-off)? As for the other problems....let's see if we can't get them logging in properly before we tackle them.

The workaround for the Javascript error is to replace the FCKEditor dll in the bin directory with one from a 4.8.4 install then install the provider. After it's installed you can replace the FCKEditor dll with the original.

ok used the work around to get ad 1.04 loaded and still having the same problem with AD. First login there is a critical error second there is another error then they get logged but the users aren't getting the roles auto assigned. Another user is getting his roles removed. ANy Ideas?
