Hi

If Ajax is enabled in the my host settings, then user can't update any info on Core Profile (Manage Profile). Disabling Ajax (in the host settings) will make this problem go away and users can update thier core profile.

However this is a problem for all my ajax modules, especially for Core modules like the NewsFeed module. For 3.part vendor modules, I've had to make the vendors create a special module/PA for me, so each module does not check for Ajax enabled in Host settings, but still uses ajax. This workaround is not an option for Core modules.

What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Thx,
/jesper

  • which is your DNN version?
  • which AJAX version are you using?
  • is there a version of AJAX installed in GAC?

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Hi Sebastian. Thank you for replying. This issue seems to be fixed on my upgraded version 04.09.02.
