Hi,

I have downloaded the DNN 4.9 Source code and I am trying to open the solution in my VS2005.

I have already installed a few time the DNN install package but I want to learn DNN deeper so I need the code.

After I open the solution and Build it, I get something like 70 errors at something like 6 vb pages where the errors are missing "End if" and more syntax errors.

Can it be that the source code of 4.9 doesn't work or not good?

Did anyone succeed building the DNN 4.9 Source Package using VS2005?

Does anyone else have this problem? I can't find out what is this problem.

Is there somethign I need to install on VS2005 before using dnn or maybe I'd doing something wrong.

No, I don't find any issues under "references"

I Downloaded also DNN 5.00 source code and it also give me errors when building.

I Downloaded DNN 5.00 install package. Opened it in VS2005, and there were no build errors. But, after I installed DNN and then tried to build it, I got errors. My wish is to build modules of my own but how can I do it and debug it if the project doesn't compile.
