Hi. I need to configure my dotnetnuke portal to, when creating a new user, provide only for the user name and email. I'm building a site for a farmer's association and they want their associates to provide only their associate number as a username when registering. Like, for example, 65745, no personal info like first name or last name is required. How do I get about doing this?? Tks in advance.

Best

You would have to modify the core registration of area of Dotnetnuke in order to limit it to just those two fields.   Check out DataSprings, Dynamic Registration Module as it might be able to do what you are asking.

Yeah, I know that module. It's just what I want, but not what the company wants. $$$$

Thanks anyway.

The time you will spend trying to figure it out will far surpass the money for the module.  To each their own, I suppose.
