Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to fix the problem of users concurrently accessing the same content and overwriting each others changes?

Are there any settings or modules that can be used to lock content and prevent it being edited by more that one user at a time?

Thanks.

SH-
DNN is not a full-blown CMS (Content Mangement System) by itself.  A true/full CMS provides content versioning.  Depending on how the versioning is implemented, your content may be able to be "locked" while being edited by a user.  There are several DNN modules that enable content versioning, though most are relegated to versioning content only from the Text/HTML module.

Many versioning solutions I've seen also include some sort of "approval workflow".  You might find this feature useful if you're able to provide a "content administrator" to monitor and approve submitted changes.

One of the more recent versioning modules (with workflow) I've seen is Engage's "Publish" module which you can read about here:  http://engagemodules.com/Modules/EngagePublish/tabid/61/Default.aspx

Hope this helps-
