I just installed DNN and I'm going through the Installation Wizard.  When I get to "Run Database Instatllation Scripts" it runs much too long.  I did Test the database connection and it was successful.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

I'm having the same problem.  It has written 5 stored procedures but no functions, triggers or assemblies.   I've let it run for over an hour.  Can it be a permissions problem (like other forum posts were) even when it is writing some procedures successfully?.  Ive added all the permissions allowed and run it again with thesame result.   My environment is Windoews XP, SQL 2005, Visual Studio 2008.

I always prefer to use custom mode, which allows you to identify, where an issue occurs. If the database scripts are running forever, you need to check out permissions of the database user you created for your database. if there is an issue during install, make sure to delete database and recreate before starting from the beginning.

If if this doesn't work completely disable anything like ZoneAlarm (cookie control, privacy settings) + try using Firefox to install for possibly a better timeout error message.
