I've spent 5 hours trying to get a grip on how I would use ISearchable to add search content in a scenario where my module displays different content based on the query string.  For example:

http://www.mysite.com/tabid/99/document/106/default.aspx

and

http://www.mysite.com/tabid/99/document/900/default.aspx

would point to the same page (http://www.mysite.com/tabid/99/default.aspx) which has my module which would display different content depending on the querystring parameter of "Document"

This *must* be possilbe because this is what the Blog module, Forums modules, and other modules produce - multiple content pages per dnn tab based on query string differences...  but an extensive search for documentation on this has turned up nothing...

Anyone?

Take a look at the implementation of ISearchable in one of the simpler modules which stores multiple records of content - Announcements for example. You will find that the basic pattern is to fetch all of the records of data for that particular ModuleId from the database then loop through the records building a SearchItemInfo object for each record and adding it to the SearchItemInfoCollection which is then returned by the method (GetSearchItems). The trick that you may be missing is that when creating each SearchItemInfo object you will pass in as the "Guid" parameter to the SearchItemInfo constructor a string such as:

"document=" & DocumentID.ToString

representing the querystring parameter/value pair which you module will use to display a particular document.
