Okay, am I going bonkers?! I'm having the most curious problems when I make ordinary updates. Version: 4.09.00.

First example, I try to delete a module from a page. I do the usual, it asks if I really want to delete. I say yes.  When the page comes back---the module is still there.  I refresh the browser--3 times and it is still there, on the 4th refresh it is finally gone.  I refresh the browser window 2 more times, and poof, it's back!  More curious, I continue to hit refresh.  it comes and goes. Not every other, but this funny 4 or 5, then 2.

what's concerning me is that it shows a deleted module at all!

Second example, just now I added a module to an active page using Firefox. Same thing as above, except it isn't there. I check it in IE instead of Firefox. Not there. I refresh the IE browser window 4 times, and poof! It's there.  2 more times and it's gone, and so on.

Yikes!  I have no confidence in what the viewer will see at any given time.  It happens with different module types and different browsers (yes, I tried Safari and Chrome).  I have another symptom: with text edits to the content of Text/HTML modules. My changes don't stick and I have to repeat making them 3 times.

Any ideas on how to fix it?  THANKS.

It sounds like your website is running under more than one process.
