Hi All,

How to redirect the request for http://domainname.com to http://www.domainname.com? I have setup my website as http://www.domainname.com and added a portal alias as www.domainname.com.

I always you the tried and true low-tech method. If you're using host headers in IIS, remove the non-www domainname.com from your current site. Then create another website in IIS (Domain-NonWWW) and use the domainname.com as the host-header. Then rather than point it to a directory (Home Directory Tab), use the "redirect to a URL". Point it to the www.domainaname.com.

The DNN portal alias plays no part in this.
