I'm rather new to DNN, but I haven't found a straight answer on this.  Once I build my module to collect the user data, is there modules or api's I can latch onto to create menu paths based on categories that I determine relevent to the information the user put in?

So essentially user puts in information about their dog or cat.  Categorically the menu path would be Mammals > Dog and if navigated to every post with Dog as the sub category will show.

I am not aware of a module, providing this option out of the box, but you might use UserDefinedTable on main page with accordingly filtered copies on sub pages, e.g. having >Mamals with main form (all entries and search) and create sub page Mammals > Dog with a module copy, showing data filtered by category dog, etc.
