Good evening, I installed a third party module, the Inventua PayPal module.  I am getting this error "MinMax persistance type of cookie requires a ModuleId".  Can anyone shed some light on this problem?  Is it a DNN issue or is it an issue with the module itself?  Anyone know what I can do to fix this?  Thanks in advance for your help.

This is a coding issue in the module that shows up in the new versions of DNN3.

My module had the same problem.  Inventua needs to re-code how the module interacts with DNN to add items to the modules settings pull down menu that is on the module.  With my module DNN 3.0 and 3.1 did not have this problem, but 3.2 does.

Hope this helps.

I've run into this error multiple times while creating custom modules. Usually this error doesn't reflect the exact problem but is a result of an error that has happened a few steps earlier in the rendering process. (i.e. Another module failed to load or there was an error that occured during rendering)

This post has good advice.

Basically ther author suggests looking at the log viewer and follow back the errors leading up to the MinMax error.

The last one that I ran into was a DLL that was referenced in my assembly that I no longer needed but had failed to remove from my references. I had deleted it from the bin becasue I didn't need it.
