Thank you for the reply.

"DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.PurgeUsersOnline, DOTNETNUKE" is on every 5 minutes, we had it every 1 minute as well. Schedule history confirms successful completions.

I thing I can think and know very little about what to do is that during un upgrade from 4.3.7 to 4.8.0 received several entries regarding the upgrade process.

for example I have 5 entries starting from 4.04.01, 4.05.00, 4.05.02, 4.05.03, 4.05.04 the upgrade worked fine so we did nothing about it.

This is an example:  Now, I really want to upgrade to version 4.09.00 but I am concerned if these errors are causing us a series of unpointable errors

I have 3 more instances of DNN running on the same server all 4.08.00 all others seem to be running fine.

This instance also restarts by itself regularly. You also answered my other post

Thank you again for your help especially if you read this far.

Shutdown Details: The AppDomain shut down because of the hosting environment.

I would restart from scratch but I do have 25 plus portals/child portals running.

Franc,

the upgrade issues might affect portal security, but are not connected to users online. Frequent App Restarts may prevent the scheduler job from executing or completion, IMHO the restarts could be a major issue, you should take care of first.
