Hi

I'm rather new to bloging. One thing do puzzle me. Is it common that the blog owner shall have permission to edit other peoples comments?
Specially when there is no kind of highlight that a tampering of the comment has been made!

I think that the possibility to allow comments, moderate and delete them is correct. But to edit them?
Is there a way to disable editing comments?

Please enlighten me.

/Tomas

Hi Tomas,

the edit comment logic is also used to delete comments. It is also useful to correct errors or broken links if needed. Unfortunately there's not an easy way to disallow this feature without altering the source code.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Tomas,

I agree that editing is not something that I want with my comments, approve or delete that is it.

You could log this as a bug/feature request in support.dotnetnuke.com for the blog project team to consider as an enhancement for future releases.
