Can anyone recommend a good contact manager for user accounts?  I want a contact manager where each of the Registered Users can manage their own database of contacts?  I don't mind paying for one if it's a good manager...

Thanks.

Can someone please direct me to a good contact manager or a solution I can program myself?  Thanks.

are contacts just a list of other registered users of the portal or an independant list?

are they grouped by company / organization / department or individuals?

do you need to maintain specific  properties or even associated documents?

what is your use case?

Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for getting back to this post.  I know you are a busy man.  I want a contact manager for INDIVIDUAL USERS.  I don't know if you have looked on the web, but there are a lot of people looking for this type of application.  I understand the UDT maybe a possible solution, but there's no documentation...  When a user signs up for my website, I want to provide them several options, all of which they can edit in their individual accounts.

So, just to clarify: When User A registers for my service, I want to provide them a Contact Manager where they can Add/Edit/Manage their own contacts, without any Administrative interaction.  I just want to add the module to a page and have the user manage their personal contacts.

Thanks!
